At Sigma Chi, we recently finished more than $300,000 in renovations to our chapter house. We now have large, single rooms with more space than you'll ever find in a dorm room, and nicer features all around. Sigma Chi is listed on the National Historic Register... and is one of the finest homes in the Missoula Valley.
Living at Sigma Chi costs less than the dorms. In fact, each semester you live in the house, you'll spend about $500 less on housing and food than you would in the dorms ---- and that's BEFORE the scholarships we award to most of our members!
Sigma Chi partners with local Sorority houses each year for social events. We frequently rent out huge school busses for socal events. We enjoy the outdoors, and all the fun Montana has to offer.
Sigma Chi funds more than $10,000 in LOCAL scholarships each year --- Available ONLY to our members. Our local alumni fund more scholarships than any other Greek organization on campus. ALMOST EVERY member receives *AT LEAST* $800 per year in scholarships from our local Sigma Chi Almuni alone --- That doesn't even include the other scholarships you may earn from the University.
Sigma Chi hosts several charity fund-raisers each year. Seen above, we held a trap shooting competition to benefit the local boys and girls club. Each year we raise thousands of dollars for local and national charities --- while still having A LOT of fun in the process.
Your friends at Sigma Chi will likely be your closest friends for the rest of your life. Your "brothers" from the house, and your pledge class will grow together as a group -- while learning about our values of Friendship, Justice, & Learning. Sigma Chi is a life-long commitment -- and our members stay closely connected for a lifetime!
Sigma Chi has the largest lawn on campus. We have a full basketball court... room to hang out on the lawn... and ample deck space, and even room to hit golf balls in the yard. Each year we participate in Campus athletics through intermurals.
Sigma Chi alums from the past 50 years continue to support our chapter. You'll find help in your college studies through our mentoring, and guidance in your career when you leave college from our EXTENSIVE alumni network.
Each year, Sigma Chi's travel across the country to our National & International Events. We'll pay for the house's travels across the country, where you'll bond with other Sigma Chi's, and learn more about our long and storied history.
